New York Journal

Hullo! Thanks for tuning back into our blog. We're both honestly so honored to have you reading our first blog. We hope that our blog can inspire and give you the incentives to become a travel-maniac like us! The first location that we're going to introduce to y'all is New York!

Image result for statue of libertyStanding from the Statue of Liberty's crown, the breathing City of Manhattan sits before our eyes. As I recall, Ethan mentioned, "Look at the remarkable architecture of Manhattan!" At that point, there were two things I couldn't believe. One, I couldn't believe that it came from Ethan's mouth. Two, I couldn't believe I've never realized the beauty of architecture in New York. Skyscrapers fill the air of Manhattan and it felt like as if each skyscraper aimed to be taller than the other. Each being covered with panes of polished glass and unique curvy design. Below them, the bays lay next to the foot of the skyscrapers. The bays don't fill the Manhattan air, it doesn't aim to be taller than the other. However, the bays compete for luxury and its tourist friendliness. The roads of Manhattan are perfectly paved and makes the city come to life; it coordinates with buildings around it perfectly, edge after edge.
Speaking of roads, there's a specific road that relates closely with economics. That particular road is called, The Wall Street. The Wall Street is home to two of world's largest stock exchange, New York Stock Exchange, and NASDAQ. Also, The Wall Street has developed into a metonymy for New York's economy. Due to this, New York City has become the most economically powerful and the leading financial markets. The most economically powerful city sometimes win or lose big time, but gaining or losing is just a part of their everyday economy. The passion the workers and experts put into their work is absolutely amazing; they have devoted their time to make the city a leading financial market. Regardless of winning or losing, the city always jumps back into the action of the economy and this is why and how the city won the title of Most-Economically-Powerful. People are the economy.
