Dear Sister,
We're both trying to get along with each other without you. So far on our trip, we have arrived in New York! Alex and I are both having so much fun here, but we still miss you. We wish you were here with us. New York is truly an extravagant state. It is filled with wonders and amazing architecture. Every day, the streets are filled with moving crowds of people. New York certainly has a lively atmosphere! It has a population of 8.538 million people! Furthermore, the transportation here is relatively inexpensive and really convenient. New York City has 468 subway stations!
Our favorite destination in New York is probably the Statue of Liberty. It truly is breathtaking when you see it up close. It stands at an astounding 93 meters! That's taller than 80 Dads! It's even more amazing to see the view from inside the statue. Alex kept shaking because, as you know, he's extremely afraid of heights. From inside the statue, you can see the vast Atlantic ocean. it's a view I know you would enjoy. l bet you didn't know that the Statue of Liberty is actually a gift from France to America. Well, we still have four more states to go to. We'll write to you again, goodbye for now.

ReplyDeleteThe Statue of Liberty is a really famous site, so yes, it was pretty crowded. But the amazing view and breathtaking experience made up for it! I really recommend it!
