Hi guys! Thanks to all of you guys for following us up until now. We sincerely appreciate it. Sadly, we have already arrived at our final state of this road trip. We are now in California!
While we walked down the roads of California, something really caught our eye. Street Art. It was obscure yet organized, messy yet clean. Colors blending in with one another, so pleasing to the naked eye. It was truly breathtaking. One of the most famous works of street art in California is the Great Wall of Los Angeles. It is definitely a legendary mural. Not only is the art style creative, it also expresses the deep and rich history of California. What great significance! The Great Wall of Los Angeles is a work of art designed by Judith Baca. With the help of over 400 community youth and artists, this amazing piece of art was brought to reality. The Great Wall of Los Angeles stands at an astonishing 13 feet tall and 2754 feet wide! What a sight to be seen! Furthermore, it also shows aspects of social realism and highlights social issues.
Another major matter that we noticed in California was it's trendy fashion. As you might know, California is home to Hollywood. Hollywood plays a huge role in California's fashion and trends. Hollywood not only creates great movies, it also creates a modern culture in California. And it definitely can be felt.With what people were wearing on the streets, you could tell that there was an impact. Overall, California is rich in both historical and modern culture!
